On August 3, 2011, Wisconsin Building Supply customer Ben Brunette had a unique opportunity -- to rappel 140 feet down the wall of legendary Lambeau Field!
The Ultimate Lambeau Leap, a fundraiser for Special Olympics Wisconsin, gave participants this once in a lifetime, bucket-list experience. Brunette, a longtime supporter of Special Olympics Wisconsin, was invited to participate by event organizers given his family's dedication and commitment to another of their fundraising events -- the Green Bay Polar Plunge.
Our very own Green Bay-market Outside Sales Representative, Jeff Wescott, was also involved in The Ultimate Lambeau Leap, donating his time to help plan and implement the event. Wescott is a registered Class A volunteer with the organization, a member of the Development Management Team and is "a crucial component of the local program," according to Regional Director Kathy Walker.
Wisconsin Building Supply was happy to donate supplies to the event, including OSB used to prevent slips on the roof.

Congratulations Ben Brunette on this amazing opportunity! And kudos to Jeff Wescott for his involvement in the community.
